I'm watching the Celtics trophy presentation and checking my email and dictionary.com's word of the day is Verdure. It means green.
Coincidence? I think not. Congrats to KG and Paul Pierce. I couldn't be happier for them. You know what I love? KG in his post game interview said, "This is for everyone in 'Sota!" That's love man.

Yes, We Can...
Though Clinton clearly can't win now that Obama has enough delegates, she still won't drop out. I'm not sure what kind of sense, if any, that makes but I'm going to try and figure out her line of reasoning. Either she has actually deluded herself into thinking that she won the popular vote (she didn't), she thinks that her being white will even everything out in the end (it won't (I hope)), she believes that staying in somehow gives a voice to all the people who voted for her. The logic in all of these reasons is flawed but it seems to be the last one that she is sticking to as her story.
First of all, just because she is still fighting doesn't mean that she's making the "18 million people who voted for her" have a voice, it means she's more stubborn that I am which is a difficult feat. It's an election. That's what happens. People lose. Even, in the case of Gore in 2000, the majority on occasion. She didn't win the majority, she has no chance of winning the nomination and yet somehow she thinks she should stay in. What about the millions who voted for Edwards in the primaries in 04? What about the millions who voted for Kerry in 04? should everyone who runs get to be president? Is that what she's implying? Obviously not really, but if you break it down that's pretty much what it boils down to. It's kind of insane.
Anyways, enough about that. Just had to mention something because she's kind of driving me crazy. Here's the newest trailer for that lovable Wall-E. If you don't start to laugh at about 1:20 into it, you don't have a heart.
As always, go big....

The Red Album...
So Weezer's new album finally came out and I must say, for those of you that are still fans of Weezer, it's finally an album worth the wait. In my opinion it is the best since 1995. If you do care, buy it on I-Tunes so you can get the Deluxe Edition which has 5 extra songs which are worth the extra couple dollars than if you bought it at Best Buy.
Also, it's getting to that time when the summer movie schedule starts to heat up. This friday we have the newest Apatow produced film, You Don't Mess With the Zohan which looks silly but also like it has about 100 one liners that I can recite for the rest of the summer. If you live in a city lucky enough to get The Promotion though, I definitely say choose that one. John C. Reilly and Sean Williams Scott pair up in an indie comedy which looks pretty good so far.
The countdown to Batman is still all I can think about but while we wait for that on the edge of our seats we do have Wall-e and Wanted to look forward to. Wanted might be the most bad ass movie to come along since Shoot Em Up (which is very underrated). Also, not sure how I feel about the clearly CG looking Hulk, but I love Edward Norton and since he wrote and produced this (he grew up loving the Hulk) I am pretty excited for it. Also my boy Mr. Shyamalan's new movie The Happening looks pretty sweet and really creepy.
Today also marks the last two primaries (finally). Not sure what Hillary is waiting for, and I don't fault her for staying in the race, but she's kind of beating a dead horse. She just won't be the nominee and she needs to accept it. But whatever, I'm just ready for November already.
As always, get your feet off the ground...Go big...

oh ps - The Promotion isn't coming out here in Michigan yet so if you do get a chance to see it let me know how it is. Also if you don't believe me about Wanted, here is the trailer they only released in Russia because it's so bad ass...

The End...
This is pretty much how I've felt all weekend and I'm hoping that it goes away soon but I know better. I won't feel better about it until sometime in October. Probably the end of an era. Hopefully Flip is gone. Hopefully we trade Rasheed who I will no longer refer to as 'Sheed.
Anyways, go big.
